Is there a difference between shew and show; could one pronounce shew as show and remain faithful to the KJB?

The word "shew" means and is pronounced as "show", it is just the old spelling of it.

If I may add to this, it is best to stick with the words of the AKJV in light of Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18-19. The language of the Authorized King James 1611 is the language of a great and mighty King and is by no means "old". The Lord is the great "I AM" meaning of course, that He is one eternal present and in light of His prophecies (both past, present and future) he is more "modern" than any of us will ever be. Given that He does not change (Malachi 3:6) I can only conclude that it is the adversary who "modernized" the language in order to deflect our attention away from the majesty of the Lord - and therefore our ability to keep in mind that He is to be reverenced.

It may appear to be inconsequential but where it pertains to the bible, nothing is inconsequential. Satan is a master manipulator and is adept at word play. This is obvious with words like:
AKJV "Modern"language
Infant Fetus
With child Pregnant
Fornication S_x
Sodomite Gay/Homosexual
Murder Abortion/Infanticide
Parents Biological/Birth parents (Makes it appear that the only relationship the natural parent has to his/her child is physical when this is not true in the majority of cases. This is one of the ways that Satan deceived the masses into believing that the ungodly "child protective services" helps children, when in reality it is the sole force behind child trafficking in the corporate UNITED STATES and globally. In contradistinction, strangers who take in other people's children for money are called "foster" parents and attributes to them the sense of nurturing and caring for the child when this is not true in the vast majority of cases.

It may not seem like it but substituting "show" for "shew" does not give the full meaning of the word in the broader sense, and depending on the scripture, the word may have a different sense:
Strong's concordance defines "shew" as follows:

The KJV translates Strong's H7200 in the following manner: see (879x), look (104x), behold (83x), shew (68x), appear (66x), consider (22x), seer (12x), spy (6x), respect (5x), perceive (5x), provide (4x), regard (4x), enjoy (4x), lo (3x), foreseeth (2x), heed (2x), miscellaneous (74x).

to see, look at, inspect, perceive, consider
to see
to see, perceive
to see, have vision
to look at, see, regard, look after, see after, learn about, observe, watch, look upon, look out, find out
to see, observe, consider, look at, give attention to, discern, distinguish
to look at, gaze at
to appear, present oneself
to be seen
to be visible
(Pual) to be seen
to cause to see, show
to cause to look intently at, behold, cause to gaze at
to be caused to see, be shown
to be exhibited to
(Hithpael) to look at each other, face

You can see the outcome of this play on words in the world, and especially in the visible "church" organizations of today who use "modern" perversions and claim that the AKJV 1611 is "too hard" to understand.

In the case of the visible "church" it is only because it is written in the language of a King, and you need the Spirit of the King in order to understand.
